Hi all. I haven't posted in awhile, so I figured I should just give an update of how me and my roomie have been getting along. Well..up until yesterday, we were doing just fine! The thing that ruined it was my phone conversation that she somehow had a hissy fit about!
Well here is how it went: I was on the phone with my boyfriend and we weren't having a very peaceful or nice conversation. It was more like a very heated and mean one! So, my roomie wasn't doing anything but watching television. If she was doing something important (homework, studying, or even talking on her phone) I would've been more than happy to leave out, but she wasn't so I stayed in the room.
She said something to me WHILE I was still on the phone in the MIDDLE of our HEATED ARGUMENT. That only made matters much worse than they already were. I had to leave out of the room to finish the argument with my boyfriend before coming back into the room to finish my argument with her. Now I'm not saying that I was completely right, because, yes, I probably should've left the room and took my argument to another place. However, I felt like she was too mad about nothing because it wasn't like I was interrupting anything she was doing. She just didn't want to hear our argument and that wasn't a good enough excuse for me...especially not after I was already pretty mad! So we argued for about 15 minutes before the both of us dropped it, but I remained mad the rest of the night.
I just thought I'd share that with everyone since we seem to be back and forth between getting along! (But it's the end of the year now..so who cares anyway??)

Alone time
Although me and my roomie figured a few of our issues out, and have been getting along for the past week, some issues came out of the past couple days (as I told you about in my past few blog posts.) Thanks to those issues, I am happy to say that I have some alone time today.
I have been up since 7:00 this morning and have been extremely busy all day, including a Science test that had my brain going in circles! When I came into my room around 5:30, she was in here laying down, then she left shortly after, because of her night class. I am glad she left though, because now it is MY turn to lay down and have some time alone.
It's kind of awkward, because although I was so used to having things my way at home because of the fact that I'm an only child, you'd think that after almost two years having a roomate I'd be well adjusted by now. However, it just isn't that simple for me! It really is a huge transition and I'm still learning!
P.S.- Thanks for reading about my complaints of having a roomate in such a small room ;)

Too Noisy
When my roomie came into the room this morning, I was still asleep. I don't know whether she thought differently or she just didn't care, because she was way too noisy. It seemed as if she had millions of huge bags that she was just slamming around everywhere. I never actually looked at what she was doing because I was still a bit out of it. She didn't stay in there though. She made her share of noise and then left. I thought to myself..if I had my OWN room, I surely wouldn't have to deal with people coming in and ruining my sleep!!
**I just thought I would share that brief encounter**

Not so clean!
I went home Thursday night and returned Saturday afternoon. My roomie wasn't there, so I figured she also went home for the weekend. However, she did leave me with a surprise that I wasn't very happy with!
When I walked into the room, I went to sit my bags down because my hands were full. Then, I went to use the bathroom. There my surprise smacked me in the face...A DIRTY BATHROOM! I am not your average "Mrs Clean," especially not in a small dorm room at college, but I do keep things in decent shape. When it comes to bathrooms however, I am definitely not a fan of a dirty one. Obviously, this day, she was!

In case you are wondering why I was so mad, I'll be glad to give you a brief description of how my bathroom looked! It was almost as if she had a party in there and somehow FORGOT to clean up the mess! For starters, the toilet wasn't flushed, which is one of the most immature things in my opinion. I have heard of BOYS doing that at times, but never GROWN WOMEN! There was pieces of toilet paper all over the floor and the sink was covered with her belongings, including a McDonald's burger wrapper. I wondered "Was she eating in the bathroom?" There was also some type of red juice in the sink as if she had poured it down the drain.
I was not a happy person at all and I made sure I let her know that, because it was really unacceptable for her to leave the bathroom the way she did. The next time she should try using one of the many cleaning supplies she has before leaving it looking that way!
